It’s super easy. Just follow the step by step guide below.

Step 1

Subscribe to Hello Guest Screen

Start by creating your Hello Guest Screen account. After setting up your screen and confirming your email, you’re all set to go.

Step 2

Prepare and create or edit your screen

Log in to your account and follow the video instructions—it’s user-friendly, even without the video. The first screen you create will be your default screen, displayed when you don’t use the personalized schedule feature.

Step 3

Review your display…

After review, head to the desired location to showcase your creation (we suggest your main living area and/or master bedroom). You only need to visit the physical location once (or have someone provide you with the code from the TV via the HGS App). All other information will be uploaded in real-time remotely.

Step 4

Download App on your TV/Device

If you’re using an Amazon Fire TV, Google TV, or an external device, ensure it’s connected to WiFi. If using an external device, select the correct HDMI port. Use voice search to find the ‘Hello Guest Screen App,’ or type it into the App Store. Once found, install and launch the app to display a 6-digit code.

Step 5

Time to Activate!!

After downloading the app on your smart TV, log in to your HGS subscription through a browser on your phone or laptop. Navigate to ‘My Properties,’ select the property, and find ‘Display in this Property’ under the appropriate room. Click the link icon next to it, enter the six-digit code from your TV screen, and your display will load in a few seconds. Test by turning the TV off and back on to confirm it launches correctly.

Step 6

Download the HGS App on your Smart TV, just like Netflix or YouTubeTV. Ensure your TV has Amazon or Google Playstore; if not, use an external device. You may need to type the full name or ask Alexa to find ‘Hello Guest Screen App.’ The first screen you create will be your default and displays when no guests are scheduled. Do not unlink a screen; it updates remotely in real-time. You can schedule personalized guest messages anytime.
